After living in different places abroad they decided to settle for a family life in Bruges. City life is a big love and passion. Like Jan Gehl, a Danish architect once said: “A good city is like a good party – people stay longer than really necessary because they are enjoying themselves”.
My life has been and continues to be such an amazing ride. I’m fortunate to do the things I love and running my own B&B is one of them.
Location
Right in the historical city centre of Bruges, 4B B&B Brugge is perfectly located to discover the most beautiful places, musea and monuments, all within walking distance (5 minutes to the Market and Belfry). In contrast to the medieval character of the city, 4B B&B Brugge has been fully renovated into a modern, minimalistic guesthouse. Even without a door number you can’t miss it – with its big weathered steel plate on the front façade. Guests’ bedrooms are located in a separate part at the back of the house. The property was selected for a national renovation project, “My house, my architect”. Our street, Genthof, where you will be staying with us, is known for its art galleries and well-established auction house. At the beautiful Jan Van Eyck place, where the street starts, it is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet view of the canals. Our neighborhood can be described with just three words: history, canals, authenticity.
